Spanish 2
The project above is about creating a day in the life of an object. I chose a rubber mouse and wrote about his day. The point of the project was to learn how to speak in Spanish better and to learn how to use reflexive verbs. We do not have them in English, but they are a part of grammar in Spanish. The reflexive pronoun is placed in front of the verb every time. They indicate that the verb is occuring to the person preforming the action. They are an important concept.
Por Que Statement
I am studying spanish because I like that I can listen to movies and to videogames and understand what they are saying. I also enjoy understanding the people I work with when they speak spanish. My grandma also wanted me to study spanish.
Yo estoy estudiando español porque me gusta escuchar al cine y videojuegos en español. Estudio español porque quiero hablar a mi trabajo y para hablar con todo, y por mi abuela.

This was a project were we wrote a story in the past tense. The past tense in spanish is hard so it was a good project. I wrote a story about when I was hit in the head really hard. I enjoyed the writing. The past tense is important because you can't relate to someone if you can't speak about your past. The past tense was helpful because it was an event that already happened.
Las Ramblas
This project was about creating a presentation that was about a famous spanish person. In addition, I was a wax figure that represented the man, John Ruiz. The project helped me to work on my past tense skills, such as the preterito and the imperfecto. These are hard tenses and the project was very difficult. The work was good and helpful for my spanish skill. The third part of the project was speaking at the exhibitions. This was challenging because I had not completely memorized the speech and I had to think hard about the words. The best part was the wax figure. I got to wear my boxing gear to class, which was fun. Below is the presentation!
El proyecto de Che
This was a project about Cuba and Comands with Che Guevara. It was a sweet final product. I was able to create an awesome picture of Che with some commands on it. I learned how to make commands through the Che Project. I also memorized a short description of Che and gave it a lot of times in exhibition.
The House on Mango Street
This project was about writing a story of my life. I wrote about moving from Washington to Houston and then to Durango. We also read it onto a podcast. However, I cannot load it to my DP. We also read the first 6 chapters of the book, which was difficult, because we had not practiced reading in Spanish much.
